Ephemeral Processing
Your uploaded rota screenshots are processed in memory strictly to extract work shifts into iCal (.ics) format.
No Image Storage
We do not store, save, or train public AI models on your uploaded rota images. Once parsed, image data is discarded.
Independent Tool
RotaHub is an independent utility and is not affiliated with Focus, Fourth Enterprises, PizzaExpress, or third-party portals.
1. Overview
RotaHub ("we", "our", or "us") provides a web application located at rotahub.app designed to help hospitality and retail workers convert screenshots of their work schedules into downloadable calendar (.ics) files and estimated pay calculations.
2. Information We Process
Image Data: When you upload a screenshot of your rota, the image payload is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS to our server API endpoint for optical character recognition (OCR) parsing powered by OpenAI API. The image data is used solely to parse shift dates, times, roles, and venue locations.
Usage & Analytics: We use privacy-friendly analytics tools (such as Vercel Analytics) to monitor website performance, error rates, and basic visitor counts. No personal identification data (PII) is tracked.
3. Data Storage & Retention
All shift extraction happens ephemerally. RotaHub does not maintain a database of user accounts, personal user profiles, or stored rota images. Your calendar output (.ics file) is generated locally in your browser.
4. Accuracy & Disclaimers
AI optical character recognition is designed for convenience. Users are responsible for verifying shift times, overnight shifts, and breaks against their official workplace rota before importing `.ics` files into personal calendars. RotaHub is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

All product and company names, including Focus, Fourth, HotSchedules, and PizzaExpress, are trademarks™ or registered® trademarks of their respective holders. Use of them does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them.
